Seriously, I hate skinny jeans. If they're not riding up your crack, the crotch is wiggling it's way towards your knees.

There's this nutty demographic between shopping at Target and shopping at Neiman Marcus...let's call it Faux Designer...where you get these half-assed designer-like duds that still cost enough to be a significant purchase but are low enough to be marketed towards lower-earners or young women saddled with a dash of long-term debt (e.g. school loans). Other designers (Kate Spade was the most recent one I heard about) are following this trend.

It's feeling more and more like a gateway drug. We're being groomed for a lifetime of perishible big-ticket purchases.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for fashion. (Clearly.) But I also hate being played for a fool, and no one does that better than the fashion industry.
